What a Blessing the November meeting was. Mrs. Donley and her helpers did a great job setting up and decorating with a fall theme. After some fun and games along with a great meal brought in by all those who attended our hearts were prepared for some touching testimonies with a special sang by Becky House and Amanda Christianson. You did a great job ladies, it sounded beautiful. A few of the Ladies from Faith Baptist Church gave testimonies about what they are Thankful of or for. All of the Ladies who spoke gave us a chance to get to know them better and see how the Lord has been working in their lives. God is so Good, we should always remember and be Thankful that God Loves Us!

"Meet Me At The Fair"

Do you get just as excited about going to HEAVEN as you do about going to the Fair?

Meet Me At The Fair! The evening was packed full of events which included Games, Consessions, Contest, Music, a Skit, and a Devotion. Many of our Missionary families were "Adopted" please continue to pray for them, we will be drawing again at our next meeting in November. If you would still like to get one or would like more please see Cindy DeJulia.

Congratulations to our Dessert Contest winners: 1st place - Nadine Burton with her homemade turtles (she wasn't even going to enter), 2nd place - Leslie Holschen with her "secret" chocolate angel food cake & toppings, and 3rd place - Amy Kobernat who ended up entering a carrot cake instead of her pie. When you see these ladies congratulate them and ask them yourselves about there stories. Shirley Bowlin won the Dessert Contest Drawing and recieved a beautiful apron with gadgets from Dee Cook. We had a great panel of Judges, one of whom flew in from California to take care of his special duties. You will have to ask Bro. Marks about his favorite dessert brought in by Ms. Ketchum. Thank You Judges!

Many of the Ladies at Faith Baptist donated items to be used as prizes for coming and participating in the meeting. A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to you ladies: Heidi Pickens, Nadine Burton, Cyndi DeGarmo, Teresa Farnsworth, Linda Tucker, Dee Cook, Betty Ketchum, Lori Consford, Faith Baptist Church. Congratulations to the Winners enjoy your prizes!

Heidi Pickens & Jackie Rich did a great job with music for the evening. Trina Ross and Terrie McCormick performed a very funny skit about a "Pie Contest" Good job ladies, you had us laughing.

Kristi Haddeman blessed us with a special devotion that the Lord had place on her heart. She reminded us that we should be thinking about, and be excited that we can know for sure we have a home in HEAVEN and will someday see our SAVIOUR. It is up to us to be Praying for others and sharing the Gospel with them so that they can have that same joy. Thank You Kristi you did a great job, it was such a blessing.

So many people were involved with setting up, keeping the meeting running, cleaning up, nursery and the many other things that took place behind the scenes I just want you to know I appreciate your help and it does not go unnoticed. THANK YOU!

27 years ago this month Joy Fellowship held their first meeting it was to be a pot luck at Mrs. Boyle's home. When Pastor Boyle made the announcement in church he said it was going to be a pot blessing because Christian's don't believe in luck! Thus the pot blessing was born and has been that every year. We have had a great time together helping encourage missionaries, having retreats, decorating the church and encouraging and praying for each other. Sharon Goodman was our guest speaker this year. She is a former member of FBC. Her son Ron and his family are missionaries out of our church to Moreila Mexico. Her daughter Jackie and her family faithfullly serve the Lord at FBC. They are involved in Patch The Pirate Club, the music ministry, and Jackie cares for our missionary guest house. Sharon has just recently started deputation to go to Malawi, Africa to work in the orphanages. Please pray for her. Sharon encouraged us to be Thankful and show gratitude for the things God has given us and done for us. Mrs. Debbie Donley was the hostess for this years meeting and she did a wonderful job. We played a fun game of pass the pumpkin and when the music stopped and you had the pumpkin you had to tell something you are thankful for! It was lots of fun. WE ALSO WENT OVER THE TOP WITH THE CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS FOR PINELODGE PRE-RELEASE CENTER. WE WILL BE HANDING OUT THE STOCKINGS NEXT MONTH. PRAY FOR THE LADIES WHO RECIEVE THE GOSPEL MESSAGE IN THEIR STOCKING THAT THEY WILL BE SAVED. WE ARE GOING TO FILL 400 STOCKINGS WITH $10.00 WORTH OF GOODIES FOR THE LADIES! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Enjoy the pictures of our event and you will see some the most wonderful christian ladies I know. I praise God that my husband and I have the opportunity to serve the Lord at Faith Baptist Church. I love each one of the ladies at FBC. I am thankful for each of you. Thank you for your faithfulness. Love, Mzz B!
